The idea of the Mariniere plate was inspired by the French dish “Moules mariniere”, a simple yet savory dish. Indeed, in its black version, the oval shape and the mat black glaze with its silver color patches strongly reminds of mussels. The white one has a glossy finish and the black clay appears on the edges where the glaze is thinner, making its shape stand out. From ordinary dinner to more stylish home parties, this simple yet stylish plate is easily coordinated with any table.
